Blade construction: Shinogi-zukuri, Iori-mune, Sori is in average and thick Kasane leading to large Kissaki.
Forging(Hada): Hada is Itame mixing with Masame.
Temper(Hamon): hamon is Suguha and Hotsure-ha, Nioi-kuchi is tight.
Tang(Nakago): Nakago is in UBU. One peg hole.
Temper of tip)Boshi): Boshi is medium circle turn back.
TADATOSHI in Higo-province is one of representative sword smiths during early Showa period. He enjoyed many prizes such as DAI-NIPPON-TOSHO-KYOKAI Gold and silver awards. This work is for practical use and has high cutting performance. Old original polish. The Nioi-kuchi below Yokote in haki-ura is slightly off and slight grain opening and tiny tip off in temper 17cm above base. This tiny tip off will be eliminated next time when the blade is polished. UBU-Ha remains approximately 11cm.
