They were good at gorgeous Choji-midare that resembles to one of Ichimonji in the ancient period.. This Wakizashi is a superb work of Bichu-no-kami YASUHIRO who is a second son of TAMEYASU, his real name is Tomida Gorozaemon who moved to Settsu/Osaka with his elder brother Mutsunokami TAMEYASU and had created foundation of Osaka Sekido family. His is well known that he chisels a Chrysanthemum crest on Hakiura. This work is wide and broad leading to a shallow monouchi and less curvature- a major identification of Kanbun shinto style. There remains high shinogi-ji, rich Hiraniku and temper is in full. The whole blade remains the original shape. Patina of tang is extremely in excellent condition and there finds no decayed, nor cluster. Elaborately polished.
