This is a set of Plum and Cherry viewing motif iron tsubas signed GOAMI. Large size and shape is almost in circle. Partial Nunome-style gold and silver inlay gives off cheerful Spring atmosphere. The ancestor of GOAMI used to be a sword maker in Muromachi period then a founder MASANAGA(正命)moved to Hiroshima, Aki province in the 8th year of Kanei (1631) as a Tusba artisan. This complete set of DAI-SHO Tusbas are extra large and would suppose to set with Katana and Wakizashi for high class Samurai in Asano clan.
